Are you a sub-contractor in the construction industry or applying for CIS status?
If you want to recieve your income in the most hassle-free way, net of CIS tax, Team Construction can help. We provide a hassle-free CIS payroll service to handle invoicing, receive payments from your agency or company, process your payments and to deduct CIS tax. Our services are designed for established contractors, sub-contractors, sole traders and partnerships possessing a UTR (Unique Tax Reference) number and are fully compliant with the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).
What is the Construction Industry Scheme?
The CIS sets out HMRC rules regarding how payments must be handled to sub-contractors for construction work. Your UTR number (formerly the CIS card) is issued when you register with the HMRC for CIS status and ensures that the correct amounts of CIS tax are deducted from your payments. If you are not already registered for CIS status click here to find out how.
